IPETRONIK, a leader in developing innovative hardware and software solutions for the automotive industry, is looking for a skilled Polarion Developer with solid Java expertise and 8–10 years of relevant experience to join our team in Bangalore. At IPETRONIK, we provide comprehensive measurement and testing solutions to help our customers design, validate, and refine cutting-edge automotive systems. As a Polarion Developer, you’ll be key in advancing our Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes, supporting our mission to deliver reliable, efficient, and forward-thinking solutions to the market. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Enhance and maintain the usage of Polarion ALM to ensure seamless integration with IPETRONIK’s development and validation processes. 
  • Evaluate, update, and optimize existing ALM workflows while improving their integration with other tools and systems. 
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to create and implement new processes within the Polarion framework. 
  • Design software solutions utilizing core Java and JavaScript, prioritizing performance and scalability. 
  • Design and implement tailored reports and dashboards to visualize project data and metrics within Polarion. 
  • Ability to integrate Polarion with other systems using REST APIs, web services, and OSLC standards. Develop connectors to integrate Polarion with other tools like defect tracking systems, requirements management tools, and source control systems. 
  • Develop standalone tools, such as Report or Release Note Generators, leveraging the Polarion API, implemented in C#. 
  • Work closely with cross-functional international teams to identify requirements, streamline processes, and deliver practical solutions. 
  • Write clean, reliable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and industry standards. 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. 
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in Java development and related technologies. 
  • Proficient in Java programming, with foundational JavaScript development skills. 
  • Programming experience in C# is highly desirable. 
  • Familiarity with SQL/PostgreSQL databases is considered a plus. 
  • Knowledge of ALM frameworks like Siemens Polarion and tools such as Atlassian Jira/Confluence. 
  • A thorough understanding of software development processes, including Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies. 
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, coupled with a proactive approach to learning and implementing new technologies. 
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities, capable of working independently and in team environments.
